Each healthcare organization chooses which providers are available for MyChart messaging. In most cases, you can only message providers you have seen recently or have an upcoming visit with. Keeping messages between you and your care team helps your providers spend more time seeing patients and keeps the focus on your health.
If the provider you are looking for is not available, contact your healthcare organization directly.
Go to Messages and select Send a message in MyChart to send a secure, non-urgent medical question to your care team. View replies in your Message Center.
Go to Communication and select Request a Referral in MyChart. Enter the provider you want to see, a reason for the referral, and a brief message explaining your request.
