Proxy access to a child's account changes as they get older. Because each organization has their own interpretation of state and federal legislation that guarantees privacy rights to adolescents, each organization determines the ages at which proxy access might become limited or be removed.
If you have questions about limited access to your child's MyChart account, contact your healthcare organization directly to address your concerns. You can usually find the contact information on their FAQ page, which is linked at the bottom of their MyChart website.
Go to the Sharing Hub in MyChart to invite someone to access your record or to request access to a family member's account. Each organization has their own rules around proxy access.
MyChart Central does not display your family's health information. If you have proxy access, select Friends and family on a linked account card to see the MyChart accounts you can access at that organization. Select the arrow to go to that organization's MyChart to view their information.
