If you deactivate your account, you lose access to your MyChart account. You are automatically logged out and can no longer log in. You also stop receiving communications directing you to log in to MyChart.
You do not need to be logged in to your MyChart account to have it deactivated. If you do not remember your username or password and want to deactivate your MyChart account, contact your healthcare organization's MyChart help desk. You can usually find the contact information on their FAQ page, which is linked on the bottom of their MyChart website.
You can sign up for MyChart again in the future. If you would like, you can contact your healthcare organization to discuss options for reactivating your account.
