Linking accounts and sharing your record

How do I share my medical record with other providers?

There are several ways to share your medical record, depending on who needs to access it.

You can use the Share Everywhere feature in MyChart to give any provider temporary access to basic information in your chart. For example, this can be helpful if you are away from home on a trip and need medical care. Just go to the Share Everywhere activity and follow the prompts to give someone access.

Care Everywhere lets your healthcare provider securely access and update your record from other healthcare organizations so that they can provide the best care for you. If you want to opt out of sharing your information through Care Everywhere, you can discuss that with your healthcare provider at your next visit or contact the medical records department at your healthcare organization.

For more detailed information about sharing your record, refer to this page.

I have two or more MyChart accounts from different organizations. Can I link them together?

Link your MyChart accounts from different healthcare organizations so you can see all your information in one place. Go to Link My Accounts in MyChart to get started with Happy Together.

What can my provider see?

Your provider can see your full medical record so they can give you the best care. If both organizations participate in Care Everywhere, your provider might also see information from your record at another organization.
