MyChart Central

How do I log in to MyChart Central using a passkey?

A passkey is like a password, but it is securely stored on your phone or computer so that you do not have to remember it. If you are used to using biometric login options, like fingerprint or face ID, you might want to try using a passkey to log in to MyChart Central. When you use a passkey, your device verifies your identity in a secure way without sharing your password. This makes logging in faster, easier, and safer.

To set up a passkey for your Epic ID:

  1. Log in to MyChart Central on your personal device.
  2. Go to Account Settings.
  3. Select Manage passkeys.
  4. Select Add new passkey.
  5. Follow the prompts to create your passkey.

The next time you log in on that device, select Log in with passkey and follow the prompts.
